Today Was A Bad IC Day

Published by ff at 9:16 pm under IC Disease, My IC Life Edit This

Today was a bad bladder day for me and naturally, when these days hit for me, it seems like there is a lot going on.  My husband and I were out of town today working his side business and we left our house at 7 a.m.  It was 8:30 tonight when we got home and all day I spent running to the bathroom several times.  I think I jolted my bladder this morning and that’s what set it off.  I was walking out the door, carrying a large storage container full of stuff to sell at the show, and I ran into the wall.  I had propped the end of the container against my lower abdomen and when I ran into the wall, I felt a really sharp pain in my bladder area.  After that I was in pain and having a lot of frequency throughout the day.

I have to go into work in the morning so I hope my bladder has calmed down by then.  If not I guess I will be sporting my Depends!

It’s always something small that sets things off, isn’t it? I go a little too fast to make the lights, or type a little longer than usual, and my wrists flare up… my Mum does a bit more weeding than usual, and her back is at her. Hugs. Hope you get back to feeling better soon.

Thanks Travelling, It is always the small things that set us off. I have back problems and something as little as bending down to pick something off the floor or getting in my vehicle will cause my back to go out.
