Fun Today At Build-A-Bear Workshop!
My husband and I took our son today to the Build-A-Bear Workshop that is about 1 1/2 hours from our home. He has been wanting to go there for a long time and we finally got around to doing it. It was so much fun! I have talked to several people who have went there before and I have always wanted to check and see what it’s all about. The first thing we did when we went in was to pick a bear or an animal that our son wanted to have stuffed. The next step was to decide if he wanted the bear to talk or play music. Then the employee stuffed the bear for him and put the sound and a heart inside of the bear. They also put a UPC code inside. If the bear ever gets lost, it gets returned to Build-A-Bear and they track down the owner that way. Then we went and picked out clothes for the bear. They have the cutest clothes. Our son picked Skecher sneakers, jeans, a t-shirt and sunglasses.
The last step was to go onto the computer and complete a birth certificate for the bear. Then we paid and left! It was a real blast!
