Weird Symptoms - What Does This Sound Like?

Published by ff at 8:26 pm under My IC Life Edit This

I went to work today and at first I was feeling fine but then about an hour into my 5 hour shift I started to feel very hot, nauceous, and dizzy.  I must have started to look really bad also because the customers coming through my line kept commenting on how bad I looked.  Then I experienced the same thing that I have felt one other time earlier this week - it was an odd symptom with my heart.  I had this feeling like my heart was beating weird and then I would get like this really weird feeling in my chest and throat.  I’m not sure I can explain it, but I’ll try.  It felt as though my heart jumped, and then I had like this weird lump feeling in my throat, as if my heart were in my throat.

Today was just so unusual.  With all the years I have suffered from chronic conditions I have never felt like this before.  It was completely different and new.  My husband wants me to call the doctor tomorrow.

If anyone else has experienced this, please let me know.

You might want to have your thyroid checked out, it might be hyperthyroidism. OR you might have Hypoglycemia aka Low blood sugar. Either way, you should call your doctor and get some blood work done. Don’t let this go, get it taken care of as soon as possible! Take Care

    Thanks all for your responses.

Lilysgramma - I am currently on thyroid medication for hypothyroidism.

Angie - This is what my husband thought also.

Green Ninja - No way! My husband had a vasectomy after our son was born.

I get this symptoms. Check your blood sugar and see if you are low, it could be hypoglycemia.
